Before joining The World Surf League, Beth worked with Jaunt VR, a virtual reality company that builds cameras, software and owns a consumer app for virtual reality consumption. Prior to Jaunt VR, Beth held the role of Chief Revenue and Partnerships Officer at AwesomenessTV, one of the fastest growing video destinations for teens on YouTube. In this role, Beth created partnerships with brands to build marketing programs that resonate with audiences through a variety of methods including original programming, brand integrations, custom content and creative media deliverables. During her tenure at Awesomeness, Beth was listed on Adweek's Top 50 for 2014, for her success as "purveyor of cool" in the youth marketing space.
From 2006 - 2012, Beth worked at Google, where she was part of the original YouTube sales leadership team which created and sold advertising and content marketing partnerships for brands. She earned the highest honor at Google, the OC Award. She transitioned from sales to programming as Head of Content Strategy, Entertainment, where she led programming partnerships, content strategy and negotiations for content acquisitions. Her team managed some of the largest businesses on YouTube including Fullscreen, Maker Studios, Tastemade, and SMOSH. Before Google, Beth was the VP, Marketing, Fox Channels Group, where she redesigned and re-launched numerous cable channels.
